Oakwood cemetery Sentinel Monument rededication November 11, 2006
In preparation for the rededication the 231 head stones, ceremonial stair case, the two cannon bases, and monument pedestal were power washed clean on October 5th and 7th 2006
(Above) November 9th 2006, After being lowered the Sentinel was epoxied in place. The stolen cannon balls on the ceremonial staircase replaced were with reproductions. The was then statue was wrapped in a tarp to keep the suspense before the unveiling on Veterans day November 11th
